Men's hockey game scheduled for Saturday at Middlebury postponed

Vermont school moves to remote instruction December 10

Hamilton College's NESCAC men's hockey game at Middlebury College scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 11 has been postponed.

According to a statement released by Middlebury, the college moved to remote instruction on Friday, Dec. 10. In alignment with COVID-19 protocols for team play, all Middlebury athletic competitions have been postponed until further notice. A makeup date for Saturday's contest will be posted at a later date.

This marks the second time the Continentals' 2021-22 schedule has been disrupted due to the ongoing pandemic. The SUNY Canton Tournament was canceled in late November due to the host school's COVID-19 issues.

Hamilton, which is 3-2-0 overall and 2-1 in the conference, travels to Williams College for a NESCAC game on Friday at 7 p.m. The Ephs are 4-2-0 overall and 4-0 in the conference.
