Derby '21 a winner for men's tennis against No. 11 Wesleyan

The Hamilton College Continentals dropped an 8-1 NESCAC decision against the nationally ranked No. 11 Wesleyan University Cardinals at Hamilton's Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Saturday.

Tim Derby '21 defeated his fourth flight Wesleyan opponent in three sets by winning the first 7-6, ceding the second 3-6, and claiming the match with a dramatic 11-9 win in the third. This was Derby's eighth win of the season. Eyad Nagori '18 also extended his fifth flight match to three sets.

The Continentals are scheduled to face Union College in non-conference action on Thursday, April 12 at the new Tietje Family Tennis Center, weather permitting.
