Box Score The Hamilton College women's hockey team wrapped up its weekend series at Trinity College with a 3-2 NESCAC loss to the host Bantams Saturday afternoon. The Continentals are now 8-4-0 overall and 4-2 in conference competition.
Trinity scored twice in a 21-second span of the third period, turning a 2-1 deficit into a come-from-behind victory.
Megan Ahern '17 had a hand in both Hamilton goals, helping the Continentals – who are receiving votes in both national polls – take a 2-1 lead into the final period.
She opened the scoring 5:14 into the first period, recording her fourth goal of the season. Sarah Fisher '20 picked up her first collegiate assist on the play.
After the Bantams (2-8-1 overall, 1-5-1 NESCAC) tied the score midway through the first, Ahern teamed with Katie Parkman '17 to put the Continentals back on top with 6:30 left in the second period. Parkman came out of the penalty box, took a pass from Ahern and turned it into her fifth goal just six seconds after the expiration of Trinity's power play.

Hamilton's Sam Walther '18 and Trinity's Sydney Belinskas both made 25 saves.
The Continentals close out their stretch of 10 straight road games Tuesday, playing a 7 p.m. non-conference contest at Morrisville State. The Mustangs are receiving votes in D3hockey.com's national poll.
