Hamilton College dropped a non-conference match at Hobart College by an 8-1 count inside Hobart's Bristol Field House on Wednesday.
The Continentals (4-6 overall) picked up a team point thanks to a Jack Vissicchio '17 victory at sixth flight singles. Vissicchio improved his singles record to 7-3 this season with the 7-6, 6-2 triumph against Jake Criss. The Statesmen (5-4) won their third match in a row and are 5-1 at home.
Hamilton travels to nationally ranked No. 2 Bowdoin College and to Colby College for a pair of NESCAC matches on Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10, respectively.
