SUNY Oneonta won two out of three doubles matches and posted a 5-4 victory against the Hamilton College Continentals in non-conference action played inside Hamilton's Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Saturday afternoon.
The Continentals (3-5 overall) have played five matches this season that have gone to 5-4 decisions. Oneonta (5-4), which won two singles matches in three sets, extended its win streak to four.
Hamilton's third flight doubles team of Jon Cohen '17 and Alex Streich '18 were 8-5 winners. Lars Scannell '19 won his seventh singles match with a 6-3, 6-3 triumph at fourth flight, and Jack Vissicchio '17 improved his singles record to 6-3 with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at fifth flight. Burke Paxton '17 eased to a 6-1, 6-1 win at sixth flight singles.
The Continentals host Rochester Institute of Technology for another non-conference tilt on Saturday, April 2, at 2 p.m.
