Robert Morris '17, who kicked a career-long 41-yard field goal with 9:04 left in the fourth quarter, kicked extra points after all three touchdowns.
Hamilton's defense held the Bobcats to 176 yards of total offense; 77 of those yards came on Bates' only scoring drive.
In the second half, the Continentals limited the hosts to 52 yards on 24 plays. The Bobcats went three and out on each of their last five possessions.

Golden rushed for 96 yards but completed only four passes for just 23 yards.
Joe Schmidt '20, who led all receivers with five catches for a career-high 94 yards, set up the winning score with a personal-best 61-yard reception. Schmidt broke a pair of tackles and gained nearly 45 yards after contact, taking the ball down the left sideline to inside the Bates 25-yard line.
Gutierrez, who carried the ball 29 times, capped the 12-play, 86-yard drive with his first career touchdown. Trapped in the backfield on a fourth-and-two play from the six, he ran out of a Bobcat tackle and broke through a big hole for the go-ahead TD.
After forcing punts on Bates' next two drives, Hamilton added to its lead on Morris' seventh field goal of the season. He finished fourth in the NESCAC despite not playing in the season's first two games.
Three plays into Bates' next possession, Jones picked off an overthrown pass and weaved through the Bobcats before being brought down inside the 10.
