Nahon ’27 scored twice as the Continentals won their fourth straight

HARTFORD, Conn. — Hamilton College's Isabelle Nahon '27 scored twice and added one assist in the Continentals' 4-0 win over the Trinity College Bantams at Trinity's Robin L. Sheppard Field on Saturday, Sept. 19.

Season Update

  • Hamilton (4-0, 2-0 NESCAC) played its first road game of the season.
  • Trinity (3-3, 0-3) was coming off two straight non-conference wins.

How It Happened

  • Hamilton wasted little time getting on the scoreboard, as Nahon found the back of the cage just 1:32 into the contest on a penalty corner with assists from Alexis Glasofer '29 and Olivia Waruch '28.
  • Brighton McMahon '29 scored her first goal of the season at the 8:56 mark and doubled Hamilton's lead.
  • Hamilton continued to apply pressure in the second quarter, earning two penalty corners before Eva Bell '29 extended the lead to 3-0 with 2:59 left. Nahon recorded the assist on Bell's second goal of the season.
  • Kelly Janssen '28 recorded two saves during the third quarter and kept the Bantams scoreless.
  • Nahon added her second goal of the afternoon 6:30 into the fourth quarter on a blast during a penalty-corner opportunity with assists from Glasofer and Shaw Huston '28. The goal was Nahon's sixth of the season and gave Hamilton a 4-0 lead.

Notes

  • Nahon scored two goals for the second consecutive game. She leads the NESCAC in points with 15 via six goals and three assists.
  • Hamilton outshot Trinity 16-11 and held an 11-6 advantage in penalty corners.
  • Nahon led all players with a career high-tying seven shots.
  • Glasofer recorded two assists in a game for the second time this season and leads the Continentals with five through four games.
  • Janssen made two saves and collected her second shutout of the season. She owns a 0.48 goals against average and .895 save percentage in four starts.
  • Rose Idone '29 tallied her first career defensive save.
  • Trinity's Alison Gerber registered a team-high four shots.
