CLINTON, N.Y. – Hamilton College's
Isabelle Nahon '27 recorded her first career multi-goal game as the Continentals defeated the Skidmore College Thoroughbreds 3-1 at Hamilton's Goodfriend Field on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
Season Update
- The 13th-ranked Continentals (3-0 overall) defeated previously ranked Bates 2-1 in overtime in their NESCAC opener on Saturday, Sept. 12.
- Skidmore (1-3) dropped its third straight after recording an 8-2 win over Utica in its season opener on Sept. 1.
How It Happened
- Hamilton opened the scoring midway through the first quarter. Olivia Waruch '28 inserted on a penalty corner to Alexis Glasofer '29, who settled the ball for Nahon at the top of the shooting circle. Nahon carried to her right and unleashed a shot that skipped through traffic in front of the cage and found the left corner.
- Brighton McMahon '29 received a quick pass ahead with 12:12 remaining in the second quarter, sped past two Skidmore defenders toward the left post and slid a pass across the cage that Alden Duserick '27 knocked in to double Hamilton's lead.
- Skidmore's Nicole Sylvestri turned aside three consecutive Hamilton shots by Morgan Clarke '28, McMahon and Lily LaVigne '27 following a penalty corner with 4:29 remaining in the second.
- Lily Dreyfuss made five saves for the Thoroughbreds during a scoreless third quarter. With 1:02 remaining in the period, McMahon redirected a shot by Nahon that bounced off the crossbar.
- Skidmore's Erin Ohlenbusch scored off a penalty corner just over three minutes into the fourth quarter to cut Hamilton's lead to 2-1.
- Less than a minute later, Nahon's backhanded shot was saved by Dreyfuss, but Nahon recovered the rebound and lifted a shot into the right side of the cage to restore Hamilton's two-goal lead at 3-1.
- Hamilton's Kelly Janssen '28 made her third save of the game with under six minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, and Clarke made two defensive saves in the final minute as the Continentals closed out the victory.

- Nahon, who was named NESCAC Player of the Week on Monday, scored for the third straight game and leads the Continentals with four on the season.
- Nahon registered a career-high six shots on goal.
- Duserick scored her first goal of the season.
- McMahon posted a career-high two assists and added a season-high four shots.
- Glasofer leads Hamilton with three assists on the season.
- Clarke provided a career-high five shots, including a career-high four shots on goal in addition to a season-high two defensive saves.
- Chloe Egan '30 made her collegiate debut for the Continentals.
- Ohlenbusch recorded a team-high three shots on goal for Skidmore.
- Dreyfuss finished with nine saves, while Sylvestri came up with eight saves.
