Four men's track athletes compete at Ithaca College In-Between Meet

Quinn '27 captured first place in the 800-meter run for the Continentals

ITHACA, N.Y. – Four Hamilton College men's track athletes competed in the Ithaca College In-Between Meet at Egan Family Track & Field Complex on Saturday, May 9.
 
No team scores were kept in the 15-team, multi-divisional meet. The Continentals are in the 2026 All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Outdoor Championships at Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa., on Wednesday, May 13 and Thursday, May 14.
 
Jack Quinn '27 led a 19-runner field in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:56.39. Ellis Goodson '27 finished in seventh place and went under two minutes for the first time this spring in 1:59.37.
 
Ian Fisher '29 took second place out of 10 athletes in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 55.42 seconds. Fisher's team-record time of 53.43 seconds from April 25 ranks 33rd in NCAA Division III this spring.
 
Jeremy Bywater '27 landed in seventh place out of 15 in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:05.81. Bywater's time was less than two-tenths of a second off his personal best in the event.
