UTICA, N.Y. – The Hamilton College Continentals competed in their second meet of the outdoor season at the Utica University Pioneer Spring Invitational at the Pioneer Turf and Track and Field Complex on Saturday, April 4.
The meet was a non-scoring competition between 12 colleges and universities across Upstate New York.
Jack Quinn '27 took second place in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase, hitting a regional-qualifying time of 9:29.60.
Calvin Kulik '29 recorded the third-best discus throw in team history and surpassed his previous personal best by more than 15 feet. Kulik placed second overall with a distance of 43.64 meters (143 feet, 2 inches) on his fourth attempt.
Hamilton hosts its outdoor invitational on Saturday, April 11 with events starting at 10 a.m.
