WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Three team records were broken and Hamilton College's Jack Quinn '27 finished third in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase at the 2026 NESCAC Track & Field Championships, which were held at Williams College's Lee Track on April 25 and 26.
 
Quinn finished with a personal-record time of 9:06.11, which was less than two seconds behind the steeplechase winner. He was also part of a 4x800-meter relay that set the team record and qualified for the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) Outdoor Championships with a time of 7:50.31. Luke Ferraiolo '29, Andrew Goetzmann '27 and Hugh Williams '26 joined Quinn on that relay.
 
Ian Fisher '29 smashed a team record that had stood since 1979 by more than a second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 53.43 seconds in the preliminary heats. Fisher went on to finish seventh in the finals of the 400 hurdles and the 110-meter hurdles. Harold Welch '79 held the old record of 54.64 seconds.
 
Fisher anchored the 4x400-meter relay to another team record. He was joined on the relay by Oliver Mylon '29, Jarren Cotter '29 and Jack Phillips '27 as they finished with an AARTFC-qualifying time of 3:19.13. The old record time of 3:19.92 had been in place since 2003.
 
Calvin Kulik '29 took fourth place in the discus throw and qualified for the AARTFC championships with a distance of 44.30 meters (145 feet, 4 inches).
 
Henry Ebben '27 and Alex Badami '26 posted AARTFC meet performances in the 10,000-meter run as they set personal records with times of 32:12.34 and 32:24.48, respectively.
 
The Continentals finished in 10^th place out of 11 teams with 22 points. Amherst College (159) edged Tufts University (154) for the team title.
 
Some members of the men's team will compete in the Cornell University Last Chance meet on Tuesday, May 5.
