NEW YORK – The Hamilton College Continentals broke the women's team record in the 4x400-meter relay for the second time this season at the 2026 All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Indoor Championships inside The Armory on Friday, March 6.
The foursome of
Olivia Waruch '28, Ruby Austin '29, Mia O'Neill '28 and
Hannah Turner '26 broke four minutes in the 4x400-meter relay for the first time in team history as they finished 11
th out of 19 teams with a time of 3:59.56. The same lineup set the previous record of 4:04.05 on Feb. 1.
Hamilton took third place out of 18 teams in the distance medley relay with a time of 12:09.29.
Emma Chrismer '28, Austin,
Nora Burroughs '29 and
Emily Pogozelski '26 competed in that relay for the Continentals.
In the 60-meter dash preliminary heats,
Tatiana McCray '28 ended up 22
nd of 45 runners with a time of 7.93 seconds and
Ava Chiappinelli '29 was 31
st in 7.99 seconds. McCray holds the team record in the event with a time of 7.85 seconds. Chiappinelli shared the team record for a week with a time of 7.90 seconds on Feb. 14.
Emmeline Stoetzel '28 landed in 20
th place out of 31 athletes in the long jump with a leap of 5.22 meters (17 feet, 1.5 inches).
Hamilton is in 17
th place in the team standings with six points. The meet wraps up on Saturday, March 7 and begins at 10 a.m. with the women's weight throw.
