Lucas Herman '26 tallied three hits and three RBIs and
Noa Oyadomari '29 delivered a walk-off bunt single in the Continentals' 6-5 non-conference victory over the Elmhurst University Bluejays at the Chain of Lakes Park on Monday, March 23. The Continentals fell to the Oberlin College Yeomen by a score of 7-2 in their second game of the day.

How It Happened
- Hamilton struck first in the bottom of the second. Herman and Alfonso Rada '27 drew back-to-back walks to lead off the inning, then Gianni DiCerbo 27 dropped down a bunt single to load the bases. Jeremy Diaz '27 poked a ground ball to the right side that scored Rada.
- Hamilton doubled its lead in the third as Herman drove in Michael Tallarida '26 with a base hit through the left side.
- Satish Raichur '28 ripped a single down the left field line to score Tallarida in the bottom of the fifth, then Herman followed that up with an RBI double to the left center field gap for a 4-0 advantage.
- Elmhurst cut its deficit in half with two runs in the sixth.
- Herman's bat stayed hot in the seventh as he smashed a triple to right field and once again drove in Tallarida and extended the lead to 5-2.
- Elmhurst's Javier Cervantes drew a bases loaded walk in the top of the eighth to trim the deficit to 5-3.
- The Bluejays took advantage of a Hamilton error in the top of the ninth and scored two runs to tie the game at 5-5.
- Hamilton's Taylor Kaufman '26 drew a walk with one out in the bottom of the ninth, then Raichur moved him into scoring position with a single through the right side. After Kaufman stole third base, Oyadomari placed a bunt to the right side of the infield and Kaufman crossed the plate uncontested for the 6-5 walk-off win.

- Herman went 3-for-3 with his first career triple and tied his season high with three runs batted in.
- Tallarida tied his season and career high with three runs scored and added two stolen bases.
- Raichur provided two hits, one run and one RBI.
- Kenny Harten '29 allowed one hit and zero runs with two strikeouts in three innings.
- Ethan Righter '27 earned his first win on the mound this season after tossing the final 1.1 innings.
- Hamilton extended its winning streak to five games, its longest streak since the 2023 season.

How It Happened
- Hamilton's Colin McMahon '28 recorded a 1-2-3 inning with two strikeouts in the bottom of the third, and delivered another 1-2-3 frame in the fourth.
- Oberlin's You-Fu Chen lifted a sacrifice fly to center field in the bottom of the fifth and gave the Yeomen a 1-0 lead. Oberlin added three runs in the sixth for a 4-0 lead.
- Rada drove in Edo Spadaccini '26 with a single to right field in the top of the seventh and cut the deficit to 4-1.
- The Yeomen got the run back in the bottom of the frame as Sam Labrecque laid down a sacrifice bunt to score Patrick Leonard.
- DiCerbo smashed his first home run of the season with a solo shot to left in the top of the eighth.
- Oberlin extended its lead to 7-2 in the bottom of the eighth with a sacrifice fly by Leonard and an RBI single by Brady Groves.

- McMahon made his first start of the season and completed five innings of work with two hits and one earned run.
- William Rickens '29 made his second appearance on the mound and recorded his first career strikeout.
- Oberlin' Jameson Bryant improved to 2-0 after registering nine strikeouts with three hits and one run allowed in seven innings.
- Danie Devapalan recorded three walks and two runs for the Yeomen.
