UTICA, N.Y. – A Hamilton College women's track and field indoor team record fell at the multi-divisional, non-team scoring Utica University Blue & Orange Invitational, which was held inside the Hutton Sports and Recreation Center on Feb. 6 and 7.
The Continentals finished in second place with a record time of 1:44.87 in the 4x200-meter relay.
Tatiana McCray '28, Ava Chiappinelli '29, Mackenzie Loudon '29 and
Olivia Waruch '28 were the members of that record-setting relay. The old all-time best of 1:45.46 had stood since March 2, 2019.
Several athletes qualified for the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference indoor championships including
Kate Scibelli '26 in the 800-meter run,
Emma Chrismer '28 in the mile run,
Emmeline Stoetzel '28 in the triple jump and the distance medley relay (Chrismer,
Ruby Austin '29, Nora Burroughs '29 and
Emily Pogozelski '26).
Hamilton returns to Utica for the Pioneer Fast Trax Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 14.
