UTICA, N.Y. – A Hamilton College men's track and field indoor team record fell at the multi-divisional, non-team scoring Utica University Blue & Orange Invitational, which was held inside the Hutton Sports and Recreation Center on Feb. 6 and 7.
Ian Fisher '29 broke the team's 60-meter hurdles record for the second straight week. One week after Fisher's time of 8.52 seconds eclipsed a record that had stood for 33 years, he posted a time of 8.49 seconds and finished in sixth place in the finals of the event.
Fisher was one of several athletes who qualified for the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference indoor championships at Utica on Friday and Saturday.
Jack Quinn '27 made the cut in the mile run, and the Continentals are in for the 4x200-meter relay and the distance medley relay.
Hamilton returns to Utica for the Pioneer Fast Trax Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 14.
