Women's swimming and diving ranked 23rd in Division III dual meet poll

Continentals won four of five dual meets in January, finished with 5-3 record

The Hamilton College Continentals were ranked 23rd in the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association Women's Division III Top 25 dual meet poll that was released on Friday, Feb. 6.
 
This is the first time Hamilton has appeared in the Top 25 this season. The Continentals finished the regular season with a 5-3 record in dual meets, including wins against nationally ranked Ithaca College and Middlebury College.
 
Hamilton is led by Jade Matthias '26, who owns an NCAA championships 'B' cut qualifying time in the 100-yard backstroke. Matthias was also part of an NCAA 'B' cut performance in the 200 freestyle relay along with Carolyn Miner '27, Paige Wielgus '28 and Chloe Lan '28.
 
The Continentals compete in the New England Small College Athletic Conference championships at Wesleyan University starting with the 800 free relay at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12. The four-day meet runs through Sunday, Feb. 15.
