CANTON, N.Y. – The Hamilton College Continentals made the journey into the North Country to the St. Lawrence University Invitational inside Newell Field House and took home first place against six teams on Saturday, Jan. 24.
The meet was the third of the season for the Continentals and their first team-scored competition.
Hamilton athletes finished first in nine events.
Ruby Austin '29 bested the competition in her first collegiate 400-meter dash with a time of 1:02.31.
Marley Meyers '28 collected her first win of the season, taking down the 200-meter dash in 27.23 seconds, followed closely by
Ava Chiappinelli '29 in second place.
Hamilton competes at the New England Small College Invitational at the TRACK at New Balance on Sunday, Feb. 1.
