Women's hockey blanks Connecticut College, Bullock '26 scores the goal

Brown '27 has three shutouts in her last four starts for the Continentals

CLINTON, N.Y. – Hamilton College's Lydia Bullock '26 scored midway through the second period and Teagan Brown '27 made 22 saves in the Continentals' 1-0 NESCAC win against the Connecticut College Camels inside Hamilton's Russell Sage Rink on Friday night, Jan. 23.

Season Update

  • The Continentals (8-5-3, 4-3-2 NESCAC) have three wins and two ties in their last five games.
  • Conn. College (6-7-2, 2-6-1) has lost three straight and six of its last seven.

How It Happened

  • Bullock notched the lone goal of the night at 7:12 of the second period. Cuora Sullivan '26 took a wrist shot from near the dot in the right faceoff circle and the puck bounced off teammate Lilly Truchon '26 in the low slot. Truchon turned and batted the puck off goaltender Devon Galizio. The rebound caromed off Galizio to Bullock at the top of the crease and she redirected the puck into the net.
  • The Camels received their second power play of the game with 7:17 left in the third period. Syndey Frank put two shots on goal but Brown stopped them both.
  • Conn. College pulled Galizio twice in the last two minutes for a total of 41 seconds for a sixth skater but couldn't generate any shots.
