UTICA, N.Y. – The Hamilton College Continentals took the short trip to the 2026 Utica University Track & Field Winter Opener inside the Todd & Jenn Hutton Sports and Recreation Center and competed against 17 other teams in a non-scoring competition on Friday, Jan. 16.
The meet was the second of the 2025-2026 season for Hamilton and its first after the Winter Recess.
First-year phenom
Luke Ferraiolo '29 won the 800-meter run and qualified for the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference indoor championships with a time of 1:57.47.
Ellis Goodson '27 took third in the 1,000-meter run with the second-best time on the Continentals' indoor top-10 list.
Hamilton competes in the St. Lawrence University Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 24.
