CLINTON, N.Y. – The Hamilton College Continentals totaled six first-place finishes but fell to the nationally ranked No. 24 Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers by a score of 163-125 at Hamilton's Bristol Pool on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 10.

Matthew Chang '28, Matthew Hake '26, Josh Smith '26 and Alex Vasquez '27 took first place in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:34.71.

Chang also recorded a first-place finish in the 200 butterfly, while Vasquez finished first in the 50 freestyle. The Continentals took the top three spots in both the 200-yard backstroke and the 200 IM.

Henry Wiemeyer '26 and Loui Chambon '28 collected first-place finishes in the 200 freestyle and the 200 backstroke, respectively.

The Continentals suffered their first defeat in a dual meet this season. They will return to action at Ithaca College on Saturday, Jan. 17.
