WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Hamilton College Continentals finished in ninth place out of 16 teams in The Northeast Elite tournament, which was held at Williamsport Country Club on Sept. 28 and 29.

Ramon Aroca Gonzalez '26 tied for 13
th place out of 90 golfers at 4-over par 146 for 36 holes. Aroca Gonzalez made seven birdies during the weekend, and was 1-under on the back nine on Monday en route to an even-par round of 71.
Eric Soderberg '26 tied for 29
th place at 151. Soderberg finished the tournament with five birdies, and his 2-over 73 on Sunday was the Continentals' best score in the first round.
Jake Hendelman '28 tied for 45
th place at 154 after rounds of 79 and 75. He recorded four birdies during the tournament.
Jaikrit Bhattacharya '26 posted a 78 in the first round and finished at 158.
Gunnar Moore '29, who was playing in his first collegiate event, shot 79 on Sunday and ended up at 164.
Hamilton posted a four-person team score of 305 and were tied for eighth place after the first round. The Continentals were slightly better with a 304 on Monday for a total of 609. University of Rochester captured the team title at 577 as the Yellowjackets edged Gettysburg College by a shot. McDaniel College was close behind in third place at 580.
The Continentals host the Hamilton Fall Invitational at Rome Country Club on Saturday, Oct. 4 and Sunday, Oct. 5.
