CLINTON N.Y. – Hamilton College got off to a fast start and didn't look back as the Continentals picked up an impressive 3-0 non-conference win against the SUNY Polytechnic Institute Wildcats at Hamilton's Love Field on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
Season Update
- Hamilton (2-1-2 overall) has scored five goals in its last two matches.
- SUNY Poly (2-4-1) was playing its last non-conference match of the season.
How it Happened
- Hamilton dominated from start to finish, outshooting the Wildcats 24-2 in an impressive performance.
- The Continentals quickly got on the scoresheet in the third minute. Troy Miller '28 crossed the ball to Zach Tracy '28, who scored with an excellent volley.
- Hamilton doubled its lead near the end of the first half. Aidan Falvey '28 scored on a header following a corner after a cross by William Fauth '29 deflected off the head of Anthony Ndiolo '29 in the 37th minute.
- Patrick Ferrare '27 wrapped up the win, scoring on a penalty kick in the 68th minute.

- The Continentals have kept a clean sheet in three out of their five matches this year.
- Both Ndiolo and Fauth earned their first collegiate point with their assists.
- Ferrare leads the NESCAC with four goals, including two from the penalty spot.
- The Continentals held the Wildcats to two shots but none on goal.
- Tobin Walsh '29 posted the shutout in his first collegiate start.
