MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – On Saturday, April 26, the Hamilton College women's track & field team woke up and decided to have themselves a day at the 2025 NESCAC Championships at Wesleyan University's Andersen Track.

The Continentals snagged eighth place out of 11 teams with 34 points, just ahead of Bates College with 28 points. Williams College won the meet with 156 points, followed closely by Amherst College with 150.

For the fifth time this season Dana Schwartz '26 broke her own team record in the javelin throw, and also notched a runner-up finish.

Keira Rogan '28, another familiar name in this season's recaps, managed a second place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and was third in the 5,000-meter run just four hours later. Rogan's time in the 5,000 broke a team record held by Maggie Hanson '02 since 2000 and was ranked 21st in Division III.

Rogan (5,000 meters), Lily Murphy '27 (10,000 meters) and the 4x800-meter relay qualified for the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Outdoor Championships, which will be held at Williams College on May 14 and 15.

Hamilton competes in Cornell University's Big Red Invite on Sunday, May 4.
