MIDDLETOWN, Conn. – On Saturday, April 26, the Hamilton College men's track & field team competed in the 2025 NESCAC Championships at Wesleyan University's Andersen Track.
Jack Quinn '27 placed fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and qualified for the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) Outdoor Championships. The AARTFC meet is at Williams College on May 14 and 15.
The 4x800-meter relay (
Brady Armstrong '28, Ellis Goodson '27, Joseph Simeone '26, Quinn) broke a team record that had stood since 2005 and placed eighth. Quinn contributed to six of the seven team points Hamilton scored. The 4x800 relay and
Edward Trenk '25 (10,000 meters) qualified for the AARTFC championships.
The Continentals came in 11th place out of 11 teams. Middlebury College took first place with 169 team points, followed closely by Amherst College with 164.
Hamilton competes in Cornell University's Big Red Invite on Sunday, May 4.
