Game 2 (Hamilton wins, 5-4)
How It Happened
- With one out in the bottom of the seventh, Gianni DiCerbo '27 cranked a deep fly ball to left-center field that bounced over the fence for a ground-rule double. Boehm was intentionally walked and Herman coaxed another walk that loaded the bases. Tallarida ended the game with a sharp single up the middle to the left of the diving second baseman.
- It seemed like the Continentals would cruise again when they scored three runs in the first inning. Herman drove in the first run with a single and Tallarida drove him in with a two-run blast over the fence in left.
- Cobleskill countered with three runs in the second and took a 4-3 lead with another run in the third.
- Hamilton tied the score in the fourth. Righter led off with a single through the left side and was replaced by pinch-runner Dillon Schmidt '28. Sam Humphries '28 lofted a fly ball into the gap in right center with two outs. The center fielder laid out but missed the ball and it rolled to the wall for a triple.
- The Fighting Tigers had two base runners over the last four innings, one of whom was erased on a double play.
Notes

- Boynton singled and is third in the NESCAC with a .395 batting average (34-for-86).

- Cole Platt kept the Fighting Tigers in it by hitting two home runs and driving in three runs.
