The Continentals responded in the bottom of the third, taking the lead with three runs. Hadley Rogers '26 sparked the rally with a single to right center, followed by a one-out single down the left field line by Gabby Garrison '27. Tansky drew a leadoff walk, stole second and Yael Everett '28 laid down a bunt single. With runners on the corners, Alexis Mayer '26 cleared the bases with a powerful shot to the gap that nearly cleared the fence in left center. Mayer crossed the plate on a passed ball for a 6-2 advantage.
- The Continentals had their most productive inning in the sixth, scoring four runs and triggering the eight-run rule. Tansky and Everett started the rally with back-to-back walks and Mayer delivered once again, this time with a single to left field that scored both runners. Mayer advanced to third on a passed ball and Ella Heftved '25 drew the third walk of the inning.
