Hank Morgan '25 (Caldwell, N.J./Berkshire School [Mass.]) was selected as one of 10 male finalists for the 2025 Jostens Trophy, which honors the most outstanding men's and women's NCAA Division III basketball players of the year, on Friday, March 14.

The Jostens Trophy is a national award created by the Rotary Club of Salem (Va.) and sponsored by Jostens, Inc. The award focuses on basketball ability, academic prowess and community service. The trophy models the Rotary International motto of "Service Above Self" by recognizing those who fit the ideal of the well-rounded NCAA Division III student-athlete. This season marks the 27
th time the trophy will be awarded. This year's awards presentation is scheduled for the week following both national championship games.

Morgan was voted the 2025 New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Player of the Year and made the all-conference first team for the second year in a row. He led the team with 21.8 points per game, a field goal percentage of 53.7 percent, a free throw percentage of 82.1 percent, 48 three-point field goals made, 63 assists and 39 steals in 27 games – all of them starts. Morgan also grabbed 5.8 rebounds per contest. He finished his career in ninth place on the team's all-time scoring list with 1,585 points, and ended up in sixth place with 172 three-pointers.

The philosophy major will make his third appearance on the NESCAC winter all-academic team, which requires a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. Morgan also earned recognition on the 2023-24 National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court.

Morgan, who was voted to the 2024 D3hoops.com all-region second team, helped lead Hamilton to a 20-7 record and an NCAA championship appearance. During Morgan's career, the Continentals recorded two 20-win seasons, two NCAA bids, and the team's first NESCAC title (2023).

Hamilton boasts two Jostens Trophy recipients on the men's side. Michael Schantz '99 (1999) and Kena Gilmour '20 (2020) capped their memorable careers with the award.
