Hamilton College guard
Hank Morgan '25 (Caldwell, N.J./Berkshire School [Mass.]) was selected for the 2024-25 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Men's Division III All-America Team on Wednesday, March 19.
Morgan is one of 10 athletes on the first team and one of 30 all-Americans this season. He is the sixth player in Hamilton men's basketball history that has received first team all-America honors. Kena Gilmour '20, who scored more than 1,900 points in his career, was the last Continental on the first team in 2019. Hamilton men's basketball players have collected 24 all-America awards since the coaches first announced those teams in 1977.
It's been quite a week for Morgan, who was named the NABC District 1 and D3hoops.com Region 1 Player of the Year on March 18. The New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Player of the Year was picked to play in the 2025 NABC Men's College All-Star Game on March 17 and was recognized as one of 10 male finalists for the Jostens Trophy on March 14. The Jostens Trophy honors the most outstanding men's and women's NCAA Division III basketball players of the year.
The 6-foot, 5-inch Morgan led the NESCAC with 21.8 points per game and started all 27 contests. He topped the Continentals with a field goal percentage of 53.7 percent, a free throw percentage of 82.1 percent, 48 three-point field goals made, 63 assists and 39 steals. Morgan also grabbed 5.8 rebounds per contest and shot 38.1 percent from beyond the arc. He helped lead Hamilton to a 20-7 record, an NCAA championship appearance and a ranking of 16th in the final NCAA Power Index.
Morgan finished his career in ninth place on the team's all-time scoring list with 1,585 points and ended up in sixth place with 172 three-pointers.
The NABC Men's College All-Star Game will be held at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Ind., on Saturday, March 22 at 1 p.m.
