Unbeaten men's hockey up to fifth in Division III poll after win and tie

Continentals have a 7-0-1 record going into this Friday's home game with Nazareth

The Hamilton College men's hockey team moved up to No. 5 in the USCHO.com Division III Top 15 poll that was released on Monday, Dec. 8.
 
The Continentals were 7-0-1 overall after a 4-3 overtime win at Williams College on Dec. 5 and a 0-0 tie at Middlebury College on Dec. 6. Hamilton won the shootout against Middlebury and secured an extra point in the New England Small College Athletic Conference standings.
 
The Continentals put their unbeaten record on the line on Friday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. when they host Nazareth University inside Russell Sage Rink. Hamilton will be playing on home ice for the first time in four weeks. After Friday night's game, the Continentals will be off for finals and the holidays until Friday, Jan. 2.
 
Hamilton has scored 33 goals and allowed just 11. Luke Tchor '27 leads the team with eight goals, including the overtime game-winner at Williams, and 14 points. Devon de Vries '27 has a team-high eight assists. Aksel Reid '27 owns a 1.48 goals against average and .933 save percentage with 125 saves in six starts in net.
