CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Hamilton College Continentals finished in third place out of seven teams on the third and final day of the 2025 Massachusetts Institute of Technology Winter Invitational inside Zesiger Center Pool on Sunday, Dec. 7.
The meet included MIT and Tufts University, both of which are ranked in the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Division III Top 25 poll. The event format featured preliminary heats in the morning and finals in the evening on Saturday and Sunday.
Sebastian van Wanroy '26 competed in the 'A' final in two individual events. He finished ninth in the men's 200-yard breaststroke and the 200 individual medley. The Continentals placed two swimmers in the top five of the 200 backstroke as
Matthew Chang '28 ended up in fourth place and
Calvin Meeker '29 was fifth just one-tenth of a second behind Chang.
Hamilton hosts Colgate University for a dual meet on Friday, Dec. 12 at 5 p.m.
