CLINTON, N.Y. – Hamilton College's
Taylor Lambo '26 recorded a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds, and the Continentals claimed a 71-68 win over the Union College Garnet Chargers on Hamilton's Coach Tom Murphy Court inside Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Saturday, Dec. 13.

How It Happened
- Zoe Myslewicz '28 drained a jumper from the right side of the floor with 1:38 remaining in the fourth quarter to give the Continentals a 69-67 advantage.
- Union went 1-of-2 from the line with 39 seconds remaining to make it a one-point game.
- With 9 seconds left, Hannah Bernstein '28 inbounded the ball from the baseline to a cutting a Myslewicz who converted a contested layup from the left block and gave Hamilton a 71-68 lead.
- Union missed its final two 3-point attempts and Hamilton hung on for the win.
- Both teams had their best shooting quarter in the opening frame. Hamilton shot 9-of-12 from the field in the first 10 minutes, while Union went 10-of-18.
- Union's Grace Ceseretti scored nine of her 14 points in the first quarter. She drained a 3-pointer with 3:31 left, then Grace Ardito converted a jumper to give the Garnet Chargers a 19-14 lead.
- Lambo, who scored seven points in the opening stanza, drove to the basket and scored in the paint with 2:45 left in the first, then Annabelle Semeter '28 drilled a pullup jumper with 1:51 remaining to cut Hamilton's deficit to 19-18.
- Following a 3-pointer from Ardito with just over one minute left in the first, Myslewicz scored on Hamilton's final possession of the frame to make it 20-22 after 10 minutes of action.
- Ardito made a 3-pointer from the left corner with 9:37 left in the second quarter to give the Garnet Chargers a five-point advantage. The Continentals responded with a 6-0 burst to take the lead.
- Ceseretti and Ardito combined for seven straight points between the 4:12 and 2:19 marks in the second quarter to give Union its largest lead of six points at 34-28.
- Hamilton scored the final seven points of the first half, with layups from Erica Hills '28 and Lambo sandwiching the first career made 3-pointer by Jaylen Manning '29, and took a 37-36 lead at the intermission.
- The Continentals took their largest lead of four at 46-42 with 5:25 remaining in the third quarter following a 3-pointer from Bernstein.
- Union tied the score at 46-46 one minute later, but Hamilton went back in front with an old-fashioned 3-point play from Myslewicz with 3:27 left in the quarter.
- Union took its first lead of the second half at 50-49 following a jumper from Jelena Perovic with 2:19 left in the third.
- A jumper from Olivia Cunningham with 34 seconds left in the third gave Union a 54-51 lead, but Myslewicz scored in the paint on Hamilton's final possession of the period to make it a one-point game heading into the fourth.
- The final quarter featured five ties and three lead changes. Hills scored eight of her 15 points in the fourth quarter for Hamilton.
- Union took the largest lead of the frame at 63-59 with 5:29 remaining, but Hamilton scored the next four points to tie the game.
- Lambo scored the in the paint with 2:41 remaining to tie the game at 65-65. Althea Hill '26 came up with a steal at the other end, then Hills drove to the left block and scored during the ensuing possession to put the Continentals in front. Perovic tied the game with a jumper at the 1:59 mark.
Notes
- Lambo recorded her second consecutive 20-point outing, and the 28th double-double of her career. She shot 8-of-11 from the field, and tallied a season-high seven made free throws.
- Hills tallied 15 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals.
- Myslewicz tied her career high and set a new season high with 15 points. She shot 7-of-10 from the field and grabbed seven rebounds.
- Bernstein distributed a team-high three assists in addition to eight points.
- Perovic scored a team-high 19 points for Union, while Ceseretti and Ardito both registered 14 points.
- Cunningham pulled down a team-high 11 rebounds to go along with eight points, three assists and three steals.
- Hamilton shot 10-of-16 from the free throw line, compared to 2-of-9 for the Garnet Chargers.
- Hamilton pulled down 13 offensive rebounds, two shy of their season high.
