No. 18 women's golf wins own Hamilton Fall Invitational

Lee '28 captures individual medalist honors for the Continentals

The golf teams pose with their awards after the men and women won the 2025 Hamilton Fall Invitational on Oct. 5.
ROME, N.Y. – Hamilton College's Aubrey Lee '28 helped lead the Continentals to the Hamilton Fall Invitational team title at Rome Country Club where the event was held on Oct. 4 and 5.
 
Lee was the individual medalist with a career-best 151 for 36 holes. Her 3-over par 75 in Sunday's final round tied her best 18-hole score at Hamilton.
 
Hellen Xiang '29 tied for second place out of 51 golfers at 152. Xiang's 1-under 71 on Sunday was the best round of the tournament.
 
Sydney Dweck '27 and Amy Lyon '28 tied for sixth place at 154 playing for the Continentals' 'B' team. Dweck set a personal record with her 74 on Saturday and the 36-hole score. Lyon also established a career best for 36 holes after rounds of 78 and 76.
 
Peyton Sichol '26 and Keira Joshi '27 tied for eighth place another shot back at 155. Sichol carded a 75 on Sunday and Joshi posted rounds of 76 and 79.
 
Shanya Arasu '28 and Serena Bagga '27 tied for 12th place at 156. Arasu, who entered the weekend with a team-best 76.75 stroke average, shot 78 both days. Bagga also registered a pair of 78s en route to her best 36-hole score at Hamilton while playing for the 'B' squad.
 
Annika Saida '27 contributed a career-best 159 that included a 78 in the final round for Hamilton 'B' as she finished in 16th place. Camille DeStefano '28 fired a personal-best 74 playing as an individual.

The 18th-ranked Continentals' 'A' team ran away with first place out of nine teams with a 36-hole total of 609 after four-person team totals of 310 on Saturday and an impressive 299 on Sunday. Hamilton's 'B' team were runners-up at 623 and Ithaca College finished third at 627.
 
The Continentals play in the Golfweek Division III October Classic at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Miramar Beach, Fla., from Oct. 12 to Oct. 14.
