How It Happened
- Sammy Higgins '26 inserted on a penalty corner late in the fourth quarter to Isabelle Nahon '27, who slid the ball horizontally to Morgan Clarke '28 for a beautiful, sweeping one-timer to the cage. Clarke's shot deflected off the stick of McMahon on the left post and beat the Bobcats' goalie.
- Higgins gave Hamilton a 1-0 lead with 2:53 left in the first quarter. Higgins carried the ball into the circle on a restart and shot it towards the cage. The ball got tied up just in front of Bates' goalie and bounced to the goal line near the left post. Higgins chased it down, settled it and ripped a shot past the diving goalie, Ava Donohue.
- Bates tied it up with 1:37 remaining in the first half on a Caroline Nowak goal after the Continentals' Abby Griffin '26 had stopped a shot by Haley Dwight.
