WATERVILLE, Maine – Colby College's Brady Moseley posted 13 kills, 12 digs and five blocks in the Mules' three-set NESCAC win (25-16, 26-24, 25-8) against the Hamilton College Continentals inside Colby's Margaret M. Crook Center on Friday night, Oct. 3.
Season Update
- Hamilton (3-7, 0-4 NESCAC) dropped its fourth straight match.
- The 12th-ranked Mules (12-1, 2-1) extended their win streak to three matches.
How It Happened
- In the first set Colby ran away from a 4-4 tie with nine straight points and cruised to the win.
- The Continentals rallied from a 22-16 deficit in the second set and nearly drew even in the match. Hamilton rattled off seven of the next eight points including a kill By Grace Seaman '29 that tied the score at 23-23. After a kill by Moseley, a Mules service error drew the Continentals even again. Another spike by Moseley and a Hamilton attack error ended the set.
- Colby jumped out to a 5-1 advantage in the third set and led by at least three points the rest of the way. Blocks by Olivia Drayden and Hayley Beigh ended the match.
Notes
- Seaman topped the Continentals with seven kills and added 10 digs, an ace and a block.
- Grace Jansen '29 and Lucy Proud '29 handed out nine assists apiece.
- Zua Vang '29 led the defense with 17 digs.
