MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. – The Hamilton College Continentals were in 17
th place out of 24 teams after two rounds of the 2025 Golfweek Division III October Classic at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort's Raven Golf Club on Monday, Oct. 13.
The 54-hole event concludes on Tuesday, Oct. 14. Hamilton players start teeing off at 8:10 a.m. local time and 9:10 a.m. Eastern time.
Ramon Aroca Gonzalez '26 was tied for 30
th place out of 120 golfers at 147. Aroca Gonzalez carded a 3-over-par 74 with five birdies in Sunday's first round and added a 73 with four more birdies on Monday.
Wyatt Lupo '29 was one shot behind Aroca Gonzalez in a tie for 39
th place. Lupo's 73 was the Continentals' best round on Sunday. He posted a 75 on Monday.
Eric Soderberg '26 has recorded rounds of 76 and 78 so far. Soderberg made three birdies and shot 1-under on the back nine in the first round.
Jake Hendelman '28 contributed a 76 on Monday and was at 157 for the tournament.
Jaikrit Bhattacharya '26 got off to a great start with a 75 in a first round that included three birdies, and was at 158 after 36 holes.
The Continentals were tied for 12
th with a four-person team total of 298 after the first day. Hamilton slipped a bit after a team total of 302 in the second round and was at 600 going into Tuesday's final 18 holes.
