Continentals look to return to the win column at Amherst on Oct. 18

CLINTON, N.Y. – Connecticut College's Marco Perugini scored in the 10th minute and the Camels hung on for a 1-0 NESCAC win against the Hamilton College Continentals at Hamilton's Love Field on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 11.

Season Update

  • Hamilton (5-4-3, 1-4-3 NESCAC) was held without a goal for the third straight match.
  • Conn. College (5-2-4, 2-2-3) is unbeaten in its last four matches.

How it Happened

  • Hamilton had 15 shots to the Camels' seven, but the Continentals could not find a goal despite many close calls.
  • Right off the bat Perugini poked the ball into the net at the near post off a low cross from Gavin Vanden Berg.
  • Hamilton's Oliver Mylon '29 had a chance to equalize in the 15th minute but his close-range shot was saved by TJ Krongard.
