Women's soccer scores three goals in NESCAC win over Conn. College

Continentals received those goals from three different players

CLINTON, N.Y. – Three Hamilton College players scored goals in the Continentals' 3-1 NESCAC win against the Connecticut College Camels at Hamilton's Love Field on a picture-perfect Saturday, Oct. 11.

Season Update

  • The Continentals (5-4-3, 3-4-1 NESCAC) have lost just once in their last six matches. Hamilton racked up three goals for the second match in a row.
  • Conn. College (4-6-1, 0-6-0) has one win in its last seven matches.

How It Happened

  • The Continentals opened the scoring in the 33rd minute off the head of Haley Cramer '28. Kate Giglio '28 booted a corner kick from the left side high in front of the goal where Cramer elevated to finish it off.
  • Hamilton maintained their 1-0 lead heading into the half.
  • In the 51st minute Jess Yee '26 lofted a ball near the net for Lila Sullivan '29, who made a centering pass to Maddie Ledbury '26. Ledbury received the pass and kicked it into the net in one motion as she doubled the Continentals' lead.
  • Less than five minutes later behind midfield, Daisy Sullivan '26 sent a pass bouncing towards the center of the 18-yard box where Isabel Harvey '28 chased it down and scored. Harvey's goal extended Hamilton's lead to 3-0 in the 56th minute.
  • The Camels avoided the shutout in the 68th minute. Rian Goertz crossed the ball from the right post to the left and a Hamilton defender accidentally kicked it into their own net while they were marking Claire Chace.

  • Harvey scored her team-leading fifth goal and racked up her ninth and 10th points.
  • Cramer scored her third goal and her second in as many matches.
