CLINTON, N.Y. – 
Elodie McGeiver '27 and 
Ayzlinn Trefren '28 both recorded double-digit kills, while 
Lucy Proud '29 provided a season-high 18 assists to lead Hamilton College to a 3-0 non-conference win over Clarkson University on Senior Day inside Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 11.
Season Update
	- The Continentals (4-9 overall) improved to 4-3 against non-conference opponents.
- The Golden Knights (8-10), which entered the day with seven non-conference wins, dropped to 2-4 in road matches.
How It Happened
	- A service ace from Jordyn Leader gave the Golden Knights a 19-13 lead in the first set, but Hamilton scored 12 of the next 14 points to pull in front and take the opening set. McGeiver totaled five kills and a block assist for the Continentals during the 12-2 run, and Maggie Nichols '26 registered a solo block to close out the set.
- The two sides traded points to begin the second set before a 5-0 run from the Continentals gave them a 10-6 lead that they did not relinquish. A block from Clarkson's Ashley Currier and Leader cut Hamilton's advantage to 14-12, but the Continentals answered with 10 straight points for a 24-12 lead. Nichols and Amelia Hahn '29 secured the 25-13 win in set two with a block on the final point. 
- Clarkson got off to a strong start in the third set, taking an 8-2 lead following a kill from Currier. The Continentals pulled in front with a 10-0 run, and held the lead for the remainder of the set.  A kill from McGeiver and an attack error by Clarkson gave Hamilton the win in set three.
Notes
	- Trefren led Hamilton in points with 14 via 10 kills, a career high-tying three service aces and one solo block.
- McGeiver delivered a team-best 12 kills, matching her season high.
- The Continentals recorded 12 service aces, marking the fourth time this season they have tallied at least 10 in one match.
- Hamilton's .232 hitting percentage was the team's third-best mark this season.
- Proud registered a season-highs 18 assists.
- Hahn recorded a season-high 11 digs to go along with two service aces.
- Caitlin Allen '27 provided a career-high three service aces.
- Conley Burns contributed a team-high six kills for Clarkson, while Olivia Baxter recorded a team-high 17 digs.
- Natasha Aguirre distributed 10 assists for the Golden Knights.
- Clarkson's 13 points in set two tied the fewest points allowed by Hamilton in a set this season.
