CLINTON, N.Y. – The St. Lawrence University Saints edged the Hamilton College Continentals 5-4 inside Hamilton's Little Squash Center on Wednesday evening, Jan. 29.
 
The Continentals are 29th in the College Squash Association varsity team rankings while St. Lawrence is 23rd. Hamilton travels to Brown University – a club team – for its next match on Friday, Jan. 31 at 7 p.m.
 
The Continentals were strong at the top of the ladder, winning two out of the three matches. Atreyus Bhavsar '26 outlasted his opponent in five games at the second position. Jacob Shulman '26 edged his opponent 12-10 in the first game and went on to a three-game sweep at the third position.
 
Lucas Walden '28 prevailed 14-12 in the first game at the sixth position and eventually won in three games at the sixth position.
 
Jacob Stoffman '28 swept his opponent in three games at the ninth position, and is tied for the team lead with Bhavsar and Simon Muller '25 with four wins this season.
