CLINTON, N.Y. – Hamilton College's
Taylor Lambo '26 poured in 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Continentals cruised to a 64-48 win against the William Smith College Herons on Hamilton's Coach Tom Murphy Court inside Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Friday, Jan. 3.

- Hamilton (10-2 overall) has won eight of its last nine contests.
- The Herons (0-9) are members of the Liberty League.
How It Happened
- The Herons used a 5-0 spurt and took a 13-8 lead with 5:05 left in the opening quarter.
- The Continentals countered with a 7-0 run for a 15-13 lead heading into the second quarter. Lambo scored the first three points, Abbey Schwoebel '27 drained a jumper and Erica Hills '28 capped the run with a layup.
- Sam Glickman '25 nailed a corner 3-pointer at the start of the second quarter for an 18-13 edge.
- Hamilton started to take control by scoring the last nine points of the quarter for a 33-21 lead at the half. Lambo and Hills combined to make three layups, and Hannah Bernstein '28 hit a trio of free throws after being fouled beyond the arc.
- Hamilton ran off eight straight points on a pair of 3-pointers by Althea Hill '26 and a layup by Lambo for a 41-23 cushion with 7:31 left in the third quarter.
- The Continentals led by at least 15 points the rest of the way.
- Sophie Blomberg '26 gave Hamilton its largest lead of 23 points at 60-37 on a 3-ball with 6:20 remaining in the fourth quarter.

- Lambo tallied her fifth double-double in six games.
- Hill chipped in 11 points thanks mostly to three 3-pointers.
- Harris finished with six points, six rebounds and a team-best four assists.
- Hills contributed eight points, six rebounds and a game-high three steals.
- Bernstein and Schwoebel added six points apiece.
- Giana Lobozzo led William Smith with 20 points, six rebounds, four steals, two assists and two blocked shots.
- Jojo Sulmasy and Anne Keneally grabbed six rebounds apiece for the Herons.
- Hamilton owned a 45-42 advantage on the glass and received 24 points from its bench.
- The Continentals limited the Herons to 29.5 percent (18-61) shooting from the field.
