NEW LONDON, Conn. – Hamilton College's
Jamie Porter '28 scored 3:05 into the opening period and the Continentals posted a 2-1 NESCAC win over the Connecticut College Camels inside Conn. College's Dayton Arena on Friday, Jan. 24.

- Hamilton (8-8-1, 3-5-1 NESCAC) extended its win streak to four.
- The Camels (6-9-0, 2-7) are receiving votes in the latest USCHO.com Division III Top 15 poll.
How It Happened
- Jamie Porter '28 gave the Continentals an early lead, scoring 3:05 into the opening period. Sophie Berghammer '26 scooped up the loose puck near the boards in the Continentals' defensive zone and Cuora Sullivan '26 slipped a pass ahead off the glass to Porter just outside the blue line. Porter outskated her defender and tucked a goal up and over the Camels' Devon Galizio from the front doorstep for a 1-0 advantage.
- Conn. College went on the power play 6:27 into the third period and unleashed four consecutive shots, three of which were turned down by Teagan Brown '27.
- Hamilton doubled its lead in the third period when Abby Weiss '25 found the back of the net with 6:19 left. Grace Puskar '27 won the faceoff and Berghammer fired two quick shots. Weiss collected the rebound from the left faceoff circle, lifting the puck into the upper-left corner.
- With two minutes remaining, Galizio was pulled for an extra skater. After launching six consecutive shots, Conn. College finally broke through as Elizabeth Bonner scored with just 20 seconds left.
Notes
- Porter recorded her third goal -- all in the last four games.
- Weiss buried her third goal this season and the seventh of her career.
- Berghammer recorded a helper for the second time in three games.
- Sullivan passed out her second assist in as many games.
- Ali Joseph '25, who was playing for the first time since Jan. 4, handed out her second assist of the season and blocked a team-best four shots.
- Grace Crowley '26 won 10-of-15 faceoffs.
- Brown turned away 23 shots in goal. Her scoreless streak was stopped at 203 minutes. Brown has a 1.50 goals against average and .948 save percentage in 12 starts.
- Galizio made eight of her 16 saves in the second period.
- The Continentals won 21 of the 39 faceoffs.
- The Camels were 0-for-3 on the power play while Hamilton was 0-for-2. The Continentals have allowed one power-play goal in 35 opportunities.
- Hamilton is 5-0-1 in its last six meetings with Conn. College.
