CLINTON, N.Y. - Hamilton College's
Olivia Zubarik '25 scored the equalizer on a penalty kick in the second half and pulled the Continentals into a 2-2 NESCAC tie against the Tufts University Jumbos at Hamilton's Love Field on Saturday, Sept. 21.

- Hamilton moved to 2-2-2 overall and 0-2-2 in the NESCAC.
- Nationally ranked No. 21 Tufts (3-1-1, 2-1-1) is unbeaten in its last three matches.
How It Happened
- The Jumbos got out to an early lead on a goal by Emily Nicholas in the fourth minute.
- Olivia Connolly '27 responded with three saves in less than two minutes.
- Hamilton's Isabel Harvey '28 took matters into her own hands as she dribbled straight through Tufts' back line and evened the score in the 13th minute.
- Another goal by Nicholas put the Jumbos back in front in the 29th minute.Â
- Hamilton came out aggressive in the second half with seven shots and five corner kick opportunities.
- In the 59th minute Zubarik was fouled inside the box and converted the penalty kick.
Notes
- Harvey netted her second goal of the season.Â
- Zubarik found the back of the net for the first time this season and the eighth time in her career.
- Zubarik's penalty kick goal was the Continentals' first since Oct. 23, 2022.
- Connolly racked up a career-high nine saves in her third start.
- Hamilton is unbeaten in its last five meetings with Tufts, including three straight ties dating back to 2022.
