CLINTON, N.Y. – Hamilton College's
Natalie Beebe '24 ripped a walk-off single in Game 1 and the Continentals split a NESCAC doubleheader with the Williams College Ephs at Hamilton's Loop Road Athletic Complex on Saturday, March 30.
Season Update
- Hamilton (11-9, 4-2 NESCAC) has won three of its last five contests.
- Williams (7-6, 1-1) was playing its conference opener.
Game 1
How It Happened
- Tied 3-3 in the seventh inning, the Continentals handled the pressure and plated the go-ahead run to prevent extra innings. Gabby Garrison '27 was handed first base on a walk, Alison Zorn '26 forced another walk and Charlie Quinn '25 worked the count for the third free pass of the inning. With two outs and a full count, Beebe smacked a pinch-hit single over the head of the first baseman for the game-winning RBI.
- Hamilton opened the scoring with three runs in the bottom of the second highlighted by a two-run double to right field by Garrison.
- Williams took one run back in the fourth on a single and a double steal.
- The Ephs evened the score in the sixth. Katie Blanch hit a two-run triple that rolled to the fence in center field.
Notes
- The Ephs outhit the Continentals 10-5, but Hamilton drew seven walks.
- Garrison went 2-for-3 with a single, a double and a walk. She drove in two runs, scored once and stole one base.
- Beebe finished with two hits.
- Quinn recorded her 15th hit of the season.
- Graham improved to 4-1 this spring with five strikeouts in a complete game effort.
- Justine Dunaway led Williams with three hits.
- Kayla Chang had two hits including a double.
- Kelly McGuigan, Vicky Trujillo Balderas and Alysa DeQuiroz tallied one hit each.
Game 2
How It Happened
- Williams' first two batters bunted for singles and the Ephs held a 1-0 lead after their first at-bat.
- The Ephs scored two more runs in the third on two doubles and a single.
- Hamilton cut its deficit to 3-1 with one run on two hits in the bottom half. Hadley Rogers '26 nailed a lead-off double to left center field and scored on a single through the left side by Gaby Guerra '27.
- Williams widened the gap in the fourth with five runs on five hits for an 8-1 cushion. Dunaway cracked a three-run homer.
- The Ephs added two insurance runs in the fifth.
Notes
- Rodgers and Guerra combined for Hamilton's four hits with two apiece.
- Wise finished 3-for-4 at the plate for Williams.
- Blanch went a perfect 3-for-3 with a double. She earned her third win in the circle allowing one run on four hits and striking out two batters.
- Sarah Fleming drove in three runs on two hits, including a double, and a walk.
- Chang added two hits for the Ephs.
- McGuigan and Balderas had one hit apiece.

Hamilton returns to NESCAC play on Saturday, April 6 with a doubleheader against Colby College (8-6 overall) at Loop Road starting at noon.
