Carlo Caffuzzi '27
Hamilton College's Carlo Caffuzzi '27 earned two team points but the Continentals ended their regular season with losses against Hobart College at home on Saturday, Feb. 3 and at St. Lawrence University on Sunday, Feb. 4.

Hamilton (3-8 overall) is 28th in the College Squash Association (CSA) Team Rankings. Hobart is 20th and St. Lawrence is 24th.

The bottom of the ladder was dominant for the Continentals against the Statesmen as the players that were at the sixth through the ninth positions swept their opponents in three games. Atreyus Bhavsar '26 improved to a team-best 7-3 with a win at the sixth position, and Waleed Nisar '24 picked up his 11th career victory after he triumphed at the seventh position. Carter Furmanek '27 (eighth position) won his second match and Caffuzzi (ninth) evened his record at 5-5.

Hamilton and the Saints were evenly matched as six of the nine matches were extended to at least four games. Tate Suratt '24 outlasted his opponent in five games at the second position. Suratt is 6-5 this season and has 30 career victories. Caffuzzi is also 6-5 after a win in three games at the ninth position.

The Continentals compete in the CSA Divisional Team Championships at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia starting on Thursday, Feb. 15.
