MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Hamilton College Continentals finished in eighth place out of 11 teams at the 2024 NESCAC Women's Swimming & Diving Championships inside the Middlebury College Natatorium on Sunday, Feb. 18.
Jade Matthias '26 recorded Hamilton's highest finish on Sunday as she won the consolation final and was ninth overall in the 100-yard freestyle. Matthias lowered her personal-record time in the event to 52.08 seconds during the morning's preliminary heats.
Emma Robinson '26 ended up in 10
th place in the 1,650 free. Robinson's time of 17:39.51 was just four-tenths of a second off her personal best in the event.
Emma Nordquist '25 pulled off a difficult double as she finished 15
th overall in the 200 butterfly and 23
rd in the 1,650 free. Nordquist's time of 2:08.07 in the preliminary heats of the 200 fly vaulted her into the team's all-time Top 10 Times list.
