MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – Five Hamilton College swimmers scored team points in the 1,000-yard freestyle and
Jade Matthias '26 made an NCAA championships 'B' cut on the third day of the 2024 NESCAC Women's Swimming & Diving Championships at the Middlebury College Natatorium on Saturday, Feb. 17.
Matthias posted a time of 56.50 seconds in the 100 backstroke during a time trial in the evening. The 'B' cut time for the Division III meet is 56.82 seconds.
All five swimmers entered in the 1,000 finished in the top 24 for the Continentals, including four in the top 15.
Emma Robinson '26 led the group in eighth place and is now fourth on the team's all-time Top 10 Times list.
Hamilton remained in eighth place out of 11 teams through 18 events. The fourth and final day of the championships begins with the preliminary heats at 10 a.m., and the finals start at 5:15 p.m.
