PHILADELPHIA – The bottom half of the ladder was strong again for the Hamilton College Continentals in their thrilling 5-4 victory over Dickinson College in the 2024 College Squash Association (CSA) Divisional Team Championships Summers Cup consolation draw semifinals at Arlen Specter US Squash Center on Saturday, Feb. 17.
Hamilton is 28
th and Dickinson is 25
th in the CSA Men's Varsity Team Rankings. The Continentals take on No. 26 Bates College in the Summers Cup consolation draw final at noon on Sunday, Feb. 18.
Eight of the nine matches against Dickinson were decided in just three games. Hamilton's
Jacob Shulman '26 recorded the decisive fifth team point with his win at the fourth position.
Atreyus Bhavsar '26 won his third and deciding game 11-1 at the sixth position. Bhavsar is a team-best 9-4 this season.
Waleed Nisar '24 recorded his 13
th career victory by sweeping his opponent at the seventh position.
Carlo Caffuzzi '27 didn't have much trouble at the eighth position as he extended his win streak to seven matches.
Carter Furmanek '27 has a 4-2 record after breezing to a three-game triumph at the ninth position.
