PHILADELPHIA – The Hamilton College Continentals were edged 5-4 by Hobart College in the 2024 College Squash Association (CSA) Divisional Team Championships Summers Cup quarterfinals at Arlen Specter US Squash Center on Friday, Feb. 16.
Hamilton is 28
th in the latest CSA Men's Varsity Team Rankings and Hobart is 21
st. The Continentals lost to the Statesmen by the same score in Clinton on Feb. 3. Hamilton takes on No. 25 Dickinson College in the Summers Cup consolation draw semifinals on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 9 a.m.
The Continentals playing at the bottom half of the ladder earned all four team points.
Atreyus Bhavsar '26 was a winner in four games at the sixth position and improved his record to 8-4. Bhavsar leads the team with those eight victories.
Waleed Nisar '24 impressively swept his opponent in three games at the seventh position and picked up his 12
th career win.
Carlo Caffuzzi '27 outlasted his opponent in five games at the eighth position and extended his win streak to six matches. Caffuzzi's overall record stands at 7-5.
Carter Furmanek '27 triumphed in four games at the ninth position and moved his record to 3-2 this season.
