How It Happened
- After a scoreless first quarter, Hamilton went up 1-0 with 5:36 left in the second. Evelyn Butorac '27 sent the ball towards the cage from the edge of the arc and Higgins stopped it just a few yards from the cage. Higgins deftly flipped a backhand shot past the goalkeeper.
- The Continentals took a two-goal cushion with 3:59 remaining in the third quarter. Higgins inserted the ball on a penalty corner to Isabelle Nahon '27 at the top of the arc and she dropped it over to Claire Tratnyek '26. Tratnyek sent a short pass to her left to Kelley and she hammered a shot that got past four players and the goalkeeper before it snuck inside the right post.
