CLINTON, N.Y. – Four Colby College players scored and the Mules posted a 4-0 NESCAC win against the Hamilton College Continentals at Hamilton's Love Field on Saturday, Oct. 5. 
 

Season Update

• Hamilton (4-3-2, 1-3-2 NESCAC) had been unbeaten in its previous four matches. 
• Colby (7-3-0, 3-3) has outscored its last two opponents, 15-0. 

How It Happened

• Erin Rayhill '25 almost connected for the Continentals in the 10th minute on a hard shot from the top of the 18-yard box that struck the right post. Isabel Harvey '28 followed up with a shot but Colby's MK Marshall made the grab. 
• Colby opened the scoring in the 32nd minute on a powerful shot by Abigail Jarvi from nearly 25 yards out. 
• The Mules were able to the double their lead less than two minutes into the second half on a goal by Charlotte Johnson. 
• Colby doubled down with another goal just 3:45 later on a left-footed shot by Madison Genser from the top-right side of the 18-yard box. 
• Avery Barton netted Colby's fourth and final goal on a penalty kick with 33 minutes left. 
• Colby held a 17-13 shot advantage with seven on goal.
• Hamilton owned a 4-3 advantage on corner kicks. 

Notes

• Olivia Connolly '27 made three saves for the Continentals.
• Genser netted her fifth goal of the season, Jarvi buried her fourth, and Barton tallied her first.  
• Marshall and Talia Thompson combined on the shutout for the Mules.

• Hamilton hosts Bates College (4-3-1, 1-3-0) for another NESCAC match on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 11 a.m.
